The paintings – the way of getting to know oneself.

Kamila Nelibová was born in Hradec Králové in 1965. She has been interested in painting and artwork since her childhood. She had attended Jaroslav Frolich´s – a landscape painter from Hradec Králové - art studio for nine years. While studying a high school of clothes design, which was strongly oriented on art, her interest about art increased. Because of the need to find out the truth about life at that time, she was also interested in different esoteric practices. Later on she started to follow Bach´s flower therapy and also astrology. The latter helped her to look at and to understand deeper the nature of actions connected with the being. At the present Kamila Nelibová motivates her paintings in a sense of chinesse art of harmony – feng shuei. A receptive person can recognize the emanation having also an influence on the surroundings coming out from the paintings of flowers, animals and the elements of nature.

The feeling for the energies is the main lead of Kamila´s work.

Very interesting and separate chapter of her life is the ability to use so called „automatic drawing“. Kamila soon found out that it is possible to use this kind of inspiration also when portraying people. The nature of someone, his abilities and also his shortcomings are intercepted in such a symbolical way.

The painter herself doesn’t need to know the portrayed person. As a model she uses the person’s photograph. That is why her paintings are not only for viewing. The paintings, through the form and the energy, offer to help to get to know oneself and also to find the way to fulfill one’s life.
